Puspoll Survey Calls Prabowo And Ganjar The Most Chance To Qualify For The Second Round Of The 2024 Presidential Election
JAKARTA - Puspoll Indonesia released the latest survey results related to the electability of presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election.
Executive Director of Puspoll Indonesia, Muslimin Tanja explained, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD are most likely to qualify for the second round of the 2024 presidential election.
This prediction, said Muslimin, can be seen from the electability of the two pairs of candidates. Prabowo-Gibran's electability was 41 percent and Ganjar-Mahfud was 27.6 percent.
"In the simulation of the presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs, the pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming took the top place, followed by the pair Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD," Muslimin said when delivering the survey results, Tuesday, January 2.
Meanwhile, Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar were in the last position with 26.1 percent electability. But this data still leaves 5.3 percent of the undecident voters.

"Among these 3 pairs, no one has reached 50 + 1 percent. This means that the February 14 election is likely to be held in 2 rounds," he said.
The Puspoll Indonesia survey was conducted in the span of 11-18 December 2023 using a multistage random sampling methodology and involved 1,220 respondents. As a result, the margin of error (MoE) was 2.83 percent and the confidence level reached 95 percent.
"This survey was conducted face-to-face, our surveyor went directly to interview 1,220 respondents," he said.
