MG Will Launch Seven Latest Models In India Until 2025, Anything?

JAKARTA - Following several other automotive brands, Morris Garage (MG) also wants to strengthen its products for 2024 in the Indian market. In fact, this manufacturer plans to release seven new models by the end of 2025.

Reporting from RushLane, Monday, January 1, MG together with JSW Group reported its commitment to presenting more models in the future. This new vehicle may serve various segments in various genres.

There is a high probability that MG will launch hybrid and EV vehicles in India as part of its portfolio expansion effort. In fact, there is the potential that this British company will release the Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) model.

Thus, it is unlikely that the company will launch a new ICE pure car for the next few periods. MG and JSW Group have also agreed to expand their network of dealers and other after-sale services.

Although it has not been disclosed what models will be launched, this brand has previously presented some of India's newest vehicles in its Auto Expo 2023 event, such as eHS PHEV, MG4 EV, MG5 EV, and Mifa 9.

In addition, MG seems to be taking advantage of relations with parent company SAIC Motor, by launching Baojun Yep which is a vehicle under the Wuling brand. This is also coupled with the possibility that the company will launch Starlight and Cyberster sedans into the Indian market.
