Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo Watches 40th Slank Ultah Concert, Merges With Slankers
Presidential Candidate number 3, Ganjar Pranowo enlivened the 'Slank Joged 40rever' concert at the Jakarta Arts Building (GKJ), Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, Thursday night, December 28.
This concert is a special moment as a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the existence of the legendary band Slank. Ganjar looks relaxed wearing casual clothes, complete with a black hat, blue jeans jacket, and a black shirt.
He sat on the right side of the stage, joining the Slankers enthusiastically celebrating the success of his idol band.
The 'Slank Joged 40rever' concert became a celebration event for Slank consisting of Kaka (Vokal), Bimbim (Drum), Ridho (Gitar), Ivanka (Bass), and Abdee (Gitar).
The group celebrated its 40th anniversary on December 26, 2023. Ganjar seemed to enjoy every moment, even singing along with songs like "Too Sweet," "Virus," and "You Have to Go Home" performed by Slank.
After the concert, Ganjar expressed his nostalgia and admiration for Slank.
"Oh for sure (nostalgic)," said Ganjar, who admitted that he often listened to Slank's songs in his youth.
He also did not forget to wish the blues rock band a happy birthday.
"Happy birthday Slank, top," said Ganjar with a smile.
Not only holding concerts, Slank also released a new album titled 'Joged', which is their 25th album.
Interestingly, in this album, Slank brought social issues into the lyrics of his song, showing the maturity and relevance of this band in his four decades of work.
