I Think The Police Will Use Common Sense And Irregularity Anis Says About AMIN Is Considered Blasphemy
JAKARTA Anies Baswedan was reported to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters on suspicion of blasphemy related to the use of the acronym Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, which was abbreviated as AMIN in the 2024 presidential election campaign (Pilpres). Responding to the report, the presidential candidate number 1 only answered briefly.
"I think the police will use common sense and confusion in following up on the report", said Anies, quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, December 24.
Anis seemed not to bother himself. The former governor of DKI Jakarta actually responded casually. Even the moment he was reported in the midst of his candidacy as President of the Republic of Indonesia, was used as an opportunity to gain popularity.
"Lumayan, it's more famous," said Anies.

"How come it's only now," said Anies, by the way.
The Indonesian Campus Da'wah Activist Forum (FADKI) reported the vice presidential candidate from the Change Coalition to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police on Friday, December 22. Anis was reported, because the abbreviation for AMIN was considered blasphemy.
