Four Brawlers In Menteng Positively Use Drugs, 1 Of Them Saves Methamphetamine
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said there are two areas prone to brawls that often occur in Central Jakarta. The two areas are located in Johar Baru District and Menteng District.
"The brawl is closely related to narcotics. Four brawlers in Menteng tested positive for amphetamine (shabu) and one of the perpetrators was found to have methamphetamine in his pants pocket," said Kombes Susatyo when confirmed, Sunday, December 24.
In addition, the Central Jakarta Metro Police are also still hunting for other brawlers in Menteng who are included in the People's Wanted List (DPO).
"We are still hunting down the DPOs who are involved in the brawl," he said.
Meanwhile, regarding the findings of drugs from the perpetrators of the brawl in Menteng, Central Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Head AKBP Iverson Manossoh admitted that he would explore and develop the narcotics findings.
"Four brawlers (in Menteng) tested positive for methamphetamine. We will continue the process," said AKBP Iverson.

As is known, the Anti-Fight Task Force of the Central Jakarta Metro Police came from a combination of Criminal Investigation Units, Intel and Drugs.
"In the form of an Anti-Fight Task Force, (will act) repressively. The task force contains a joint team of Criminal Investigation, Intelligence and Drugs. We support a special team to dismantle the trigger for this brawl," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the Central Jakarta Metro Police managed to apprehend 12 suspected brawlers in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta. The perpetrators of the brawl who were arrested were adults and minors.
"Of the 12 suspects, 4 are adults and 8 are still children (underage)," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro, Saturday, December 23.
As a result of the brawl, one member of the National Police became the victim of a beating. The member of the National Police, Iptu Aang, was injured.
