Disguised As An FDX Courier, BNN Officers Arrest Cikupa Housing Security After Receiving Methamphetamine From Cameroon

TANGERANG - A Cikupa Housing security officer with the initials Y (33) was arrested by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN). He was arrested when he received 1,231 grams of crystal methamphetamine from Cameroon which was delivered via a package of goods shipments.

The head of the South Tangerang City BNN (Tangsel), Satrya Ika Putra, said the perpetrator was arrested in the Cikupa area, Tangerang Regency in November 2023.

"Sabu is packaged in a rope thread," said Satrya when confirmed, Friday, December 22.

Satrya explained that the distribution of methamphetamine packages had been controlled. The South Tangerang BNN apparatus then disguised itself as an officer of the freight package delivery service company.

At that time, Y was arrested while waiting for methamphetamine sent from Cameroon. "

"We disguised ourselves as FDX people who sent the package," he explained.

During his arrest, the perpetrator did not fight back and admitted that the Cameroonian methamphetamine package was aimed at him.

"If he can send goods to his customers in Tangerang, he will get a salary of 30 million rupiah," explained Satrya.
