Jokowi: FARli Bahuri's Resignation Letter Hasn't Reached My Desk
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo as of Friday afternoon has not received a letter of resignation from the inactive Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri."Not yet, not yet at my desk. It has been submitted to the State Secretary, but has not yet reached my desk," Jokowi told reporters after attending the National Seminar of the Indonesian Outlook Economy in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Friday, December 22.Regarding the request from the Indonesian Corruption Watch (ICW) institution so that the presidential decree (keppres) for the dismissal of Firli Bahuri as chairman of the KPK, Jokowi stated that the decision document was still in process."Everything is still in process. Everything is in process," added Jokowi.Previously, Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana said the Ministry of State Secretariat had received a letter from Firli Bahuri addressed to President Jokowi regarding his resignation from the position of chairman and chairman of the KPK."The Ministry of State Secretariat has received a letter dated December 18, 2023 from Mr. Firli Bahuri to the President (Jokowi) who submitted his resignation from the position of chairman and chairman of the KPK," said Ari Dwipayana in a short message received in Jakarta, Thursday (21/12).Ari said that currently Firli's resignation letter is still being processed so that it can be determined through the presidential decree.
