Firli Bahuri Surprised That The Pretrial Was Rejected By The South Jakarta District Court: No Children Of The Nation Involved In Opinion To Judge People
The inactive chairman of the KPK, Firli Bahuri, gave a response regarding the decision of the South Jakarta District Court (PN) regarding the pretrial determined by the suspect by the Polda Metro Jaya.
"I was surprised to hear today's news that Firli's application was rejected. I was surprised, the court's decision didn't sound like that," said Firli when met at a cafe in Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, December 19.
According to him, the decision of the South Jakarta District Court judge stated that the trial, firstly, the applicant's application was not accepted, not rejected, but also not granted.
"Usually a decision of two, namely being rejected or granted, is something that is in the middle of being unacceptable," explained Firli.
Firli said that his party would continue to follow the legal process in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations.
He hopes that the Indonesian people, especially the nation's children, will not fall into the opinion of judging people.
"We hope that no nation's children fall into the opinion of judging people because in principle law enforcement must have the principle of presumption of innocence, of course we will follow the legal process," he said.
