KPK Finds Money During OTT North Maluku Governor
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found evidence in a hand arrest operation (OTT) in Ternata and Jakarta. There is money but the amount has not been informed.
"There is also found money as evidence that the amount is still being confirmed to the arrested parties," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday night, December 19.
Ali said that up to now the number of people caught in the arrests has reached 18 people. One of them is North Maluku Governor Abdul Gani Kasuba who was arrested in Jakarta on Monday, December 18 afternoon.
The KPK will soon deliver a press conference to announce the suspect. "The full development will be delivered tomorrow," said Ali.

Previously reported, the KPK said that the arrest was related to the alleged auction of positions and procurement of goods and services. This was conveyed by the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron.
"Allegedly in a criminal act of corruption in the auction of positions and projects for the procurement of goods and services," said Ghufron when confirmed Monday night, December 18.
