Coordinating Minister For Political, Legal And Security Affairs: Indonesia Remains In Its Establishment Of Palestine

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahdfud MD emphasized that the Indonesian government remains in its stance in favor of Palestine and condemns all forms of crimes committed by Israel.

"For the Palestinian and Israeli conflicts, Indonesia remains in its stance, namely favoring Palestine," said Mahfud Md in Padang, West Sumatra, Monday, December 18, which was confiscated by Antara.

Indonesia also urged Israel to immediately stop the attack on the Palestinian Land which killed tens of thousands of people, especially children and women who were not directly related to the conflict.

The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs also emphasized that Indonesia will not open diplomatic relations with Israel as long as the Palestinian existence as an independent country is recognized by Israel.

Mahfud said Indonesia's commitment to Palestine actually intersects with the mission of the presidential candidate pair and vice presidential candidate Ganjar-Mahfud.

This is stated in the eighth point, namely accelerating the increase in Indonesia's role in realizing a new world system that is more just through active free foreign politics, and strengthening national defense.

The eighth mission will be implemented through two fields and eight programs if the pair is elected to the 2024 democratic party.
