Jadi Markas Peredaran Narkoba, Polda Sumut Ratakan Diskotek Di Deliserdang
MEDAN - The North Sumatra Regional Police (Polda) destroyed a discotheque in Namo Rube Julu Village, Kutalimbaru District, Deliserdang Regency because it was allegedly a place for drug trafficking.
"There are three buildings that were demolished, namely the karaoke, ktv and canteen places in the discotheque," said Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi in Medan, quoted by ANTARA on Sunday, December 17.
The destruction of the discotheque in Deliserdang, said Hadi, was carried out by an integrated team consisting of the TNI-Polri, Satpol PP and other stakeholders which began on Friday.
"The Joint Team has leveled the building in the complex, which has been suspected of being a hotbed for drug trafficking, places of prostitution or gambling places," he said.
In addition, Hadi said that the building permit (IMB) had been revoked, especially since the building had violated the theft of electricity.
Previously, the North Sumatra Police also dismantled dozens of huts suspected of being places for drug and gambling transactions in the Deliserdang area.
"In addition to dismantling the hut, which is suspected of being a place of drugs and gambling, it also secured drug dealers at the place on Friday (1/12) afternoon," said Hadi.

He said that between Jalan Jamin Ginting, Bandar Baru Village, Sibolangit District, Deliserdang, three people were found distributing methamphetamine.
"The evidence that was secured was seven grams as well as a fish shooting gambling spot," he said.
