Stabbing Wife To Death Child On Road Bank, Man In Jambi Escapes Arrested 3 Hours Later
JAMBI - Police arrested a man with the initials SE (50), the perpetrator of the stabbing of his wife and stepdaughter, resulting in the death of one of the victims.
Merangin Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Ruri Roberto said the perpetrator who escaped was arrested three hours from the incident.
"The suspect tried to escape after the incident, but thanks to information from the public, the suspect was arrested," he said in Jambi, Friday, December 15, which was confiscated by Antara.
The stabbing case occurred on Friday, December 15 at around 10.30 WIB. The two victims were found covered in blood on the edge of Talang Sekuang Street, Muara Panco Timur Village, Renah Pembarap District, Merangin Regency, Jambi.

The mother and child with the initials SR (53) and M (19) are residents of Benteng Village, Sungai Manau District, Merangin.
Victim M died as a result of being stabbed by a sharp weapon after briefly breaking up the commotion between his biological mother and stepfather on the side of the road.
After seeing his stepson die at the scene, the perpetrator SE immediately fled and left the two victims on the side of the road.
Seeing the incident, residents were excited and took the two victims to the hospital to get help, but the child's life could not be saved.
Currently, the victim SR is in critical condition at Bangko Hospital because he was seriously injured.
"We are still investigating the motive and we are examining the suspect intensively," he said.
