Nurmawati, Napi Who Had Escaped In Tangerang Class II A Prison, Now Enters A Special Room

TANGERANG - Nurmawati, a prisoner entrusted by the police (K Karawaci Police) who had escaped from the Tangerang Class II A Women's Correctional Institution, is now being placed in a special detention room.

"For now, he just came, we put him in a special room first. Because of him too, yes, people run away. Still in confusion, still what's like that. Still put him in a special room first," said Tangerang Head of Class II A Prison Yekti Apriyanti in a short message, Tuesday, December 12.

Regarding the psychologist's examination of Nurmawati, Yekti continued, it has not been carried out. Because his party is still waiting for a psychologist to examine the prisoner's psyche.

"We don't have a psychological person. We'll invite them from outside," he said.

Prisoner Nurmawati escaped from the Tangerang Class II A Women's Correctional Institution, was again arrested by a joint team from the Tangerang City Metro Police, and the Class II A Prison of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham).

The woman who was caught in the abuse case was arrested at her parents' house in Kasui Lama Village, Kasui District, Way Kanan Regency, Lampung Province, Saturday, December 9.

"The joint team from the Tangerang City Metro Police together with the Class II A prison employee of the Banten Ministry of Law and Human Rights have succeeded in arresting Nurmawati at her parents' residence in the Lampung area, around 16.00 WIB," said the Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho.

Zain said the three-day search had finally paid off.

"We finally managed to secure the Karawaci Police who were involved in the persecution case without putting up a fight," said Zain again.
