BWF World Tour Finals 2023 Draw: Fajar/Rian One Group With Bagas/Fikri

JAKARTA - Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto are in the same group as their compatriots, Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, at the BWF World Tour Finals 2023.

The draw for the closing of the BWF tour series will take place on Monday, December 11, 2023, WIB night. Fajar/Rian and Bagas/Fikri are included in Group B.

Another contest in Group B is the Danish pair Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen and South Korean men's doubles, Kang Min Hyuk/Seo Seung Jae.

Meanwhile, the men's doubles Group A is filled with Chinese duo, Liang Wei Berkek/Wang Chang and Liu Yuchen/Ou Xuan Yi who are defending champions, Malaysian representatives Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik, and the Japanese pair Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi.

Furthermore, Indonesian women's doubles Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti entered Group A. This pair will fight defending champions Chen Qingchen/Jia Yifan (China), Liu Sheng Shu/Tan Ning (China), and Mayu Matsumoto/Wakana Nagahara (Japan).

Next, a tough journey will be faced by the women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung who fills Group A. She is in the same group as An Se-young (South Korea), Tai Tzu Ying (China Taipei), and Kim Ga-eun (South Korea).

Indonesian men's singles, namely Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonatan Christie, are in different groups. Ginting entered Group A with Viktor Axelsen (Denmark), Shi Yuqi (China), and Kodai Naraoka (Japan).

Axelsen will be a serious challenge in Group A. The reason is, the Danish representative is the champion in the two latest editions.

Meanwhile, Jonatan Christie is included in Group B. The owners of the 2018 Asian Games gold medals will meet, Li Shi Feng (China), Anders Antonsen (Denmark), and Kunlavut Vitidsarn (Thailand).
