A Series of AI-Powered Feature Updates on Google Pixel 8 Pro

JAKARTA – Not long ago, Google announced that they had updated the Artificial Intelligence (AI) power in the Tensor G3 processor. These improvements include camera and video features.

For users of the Pixel 8 Pro, they will get improvements to several systems in video such as color, lighting, stabilization, and grain. Additionally, Google added noise reduction when recording at night.

With enhanced AI capabilities, the video camera will automatically display greater detail and color as noise is eliminated. Not just regular videos, the timelapse feature will also capture more light at night.

Apart from video, the Balance Light feature on the still camera is also improved. As a result, the use of light can be maximized during the day and at night. Sharp shadows in photos at night can also be removed easily.

The final update to the camera is improved focus on live objects. Now, the Pixel 8 Pro camera can produce sharper images of animals like dogs and cats.

The next update that Pixel 8 Pro users can experience is the camera quality when making video calls. Without the need for a built-in webcam, the camera removes grain from videos and sharpens the appearance.

Furthermore, Pixel users can find out weather conditions and daily weather forecasts in just one tap. In the watch widget view, users just need to tap the widget and the app will show the forecast.

There are still many features that Google added to the Pixel 8 Pro after introducing the Gemini Nano, an AI model that is claimed to be the most efficient. Apart from the several updates mentioned above, Google has also added AI features to the Recorder and Gboard applications.
