Scavengers In Pancoran Burned To Spread To Tempe Factory, One Woman Injured
JAKARTA - A tempe factory and two areas of scavengers' stalls on Jalan Pancoran Buntu, Pancoran, South Jakarta caught fire. South Jakarta Gulkarmat Officer Paryo said his party received a report on Monday, December 11, at 02.22 WIB.
"It's true, 2 areas of scavenger stalls and 1 tempe factory were caught on fire," said Paryo when confirmed, Monday, December 11.
Paryo explained that the incident began with a witness, Andre saw a thick principle in one of the scavengers' stalls. He also tried to extinguish the fire. But the fire is getting bigger.
"For the time being, the fire is suspected to be due to an electrical short," he said.
On that basis, residents reported to the South Jakarta Damkar to extinguish the fire. Paryo said as many as 20 units of South Jakarta firefighters and 57 personnel were deployed.
