EQE 500 4Matic Officially Launches in Malaysia, This is the Price

JAKARTA - After releasing the teaser, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia officially expanded the all-electric EQ range by introducing the newest EQE SUV and only one variant is presented, namely the EQE 500 4Matic.

Quoted from the Paultan page, Thursday, December 7, this model, which arrived one month after its sibling, the EQS SUV, is priced at 484,888 ringgit or around IDR 1.6 billion without insurance and 10 percent sales tax.

This electric car is built on the Electric Vehicle Architecture (EVA) platform, which is also featured on the EQE sedan and EQS SUV lines, and is also equipped with Digital Light headlights.

In addition, this luxury car is equipped with an AMG Line exterior, which adds a special AMG front bumper painted in the same color as the car body, and comes with high-gloss chrome door handles.

Meanwhile, at the rear there is a special AMG apron painted in the same color as the vehicle, as well as a chrome insert at the rear. Completing the look are 21-inch AMG multi-spoke light alloy wheels.

The EQE 500 4Matic has a dual motor setup that offers 402 hp of power and 858 Nm of torque. The motorbike is powered by a 10-module 90.6 kWh, 400 volt lithium-ion battery, which can cover a distance of up to 552 km (WLTP test). Talking about performance, 0-100 km/h can reach 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 210 km/h.

The electric car is also equipped with a 22 kW AC onboard charger (as standard, 11 kW), making it the second EQ model from the company to be equipped with such a charger. With 22 kW charging, charging the battery from 0-100 percent takes four hours 45 minutes.

Meanwhile, with DC fast charging (CCS2 connection) up to 170 kW, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 32 minutes, the car manufacturer states that 250 km can be recovered with just 15 minutes of charging.

Similar to the EQS SUV, the EQE SUV comes with Airmatic air suspension with ADS+ adjustable dampers, also equipped with excellent maneuverability.
