Sentil Gibran, Ganjar Calls School "Held" In Central Java Results Of Reliable Graduates
KUTAI KARTANEGARA - presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo responded to the criticism of candidate for vice president number 2 as well as Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka regarding the facilities and infrastructure of vocational high schools in Central Java that are outdated or "graduate"
This was conveyed by Ganjar after visiting Loa Kulu Market, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan, Wednesday, December 6.
"The title can produce ready-to-use workers, especially modern," said Ganjar, quoted by ANTARA.
According to him, the facilities and infrastructure that are considered old school in Central Java have proven to be able to produce graduates who are ready to work. However, he was happy to receive input from President Jokowi's eldest son.
On the other hand, Ganjar assessed that Gibran was ready to hold a presidential / vice presidential debate in the 2024 presidential election. He even denied the milling issue that Gibran was not ready to face the debate.
"He is ready (the debate) has a record and coincidentally when the consortium was made I went with him," he said.
Ganjar revealed that he and Gibran had actually formed a consortium of large companies to improve infrastructure in SMK, such as computers.
Therefore, the former Governor of Central Java saw the figure of Gibran as a young person full of creativity. This is shown by his readiness to help anyone regardless of his background.
Previously, Gibran Rakabuming Raka highlighted the facilities and infrastructure of SMK in Central Java which had been "adulted" during the Ganjar Pranowo administration. This was conveyed by Gibran Rakabuming Raka when responding to the complaints of one of the students from the As Asshiddiqiyah 2 Islamic Boarding School, Tangerang City, Banten, last Monday.
The student told about the technology behind in Islamic boarding schools with industrial needs.
"These are the types of questions that are also often asked by friends at SMK. Earlier I said the problem of'mismatch' between schools and the industrial world," said Gibran in front of the students.
Gibran said he had visited several vocational schools in Central Java when he first served as Mayor of Solo. At that time, Ganjar Pranowo served as Governor of Central Java.
He said that actually the vocational infrastructure is not the domain of the mayor, but the governor. However, Gibran ventured to form a consortium of large companies to improve infrastructure in SMK, such as computers.

"In the past, when I first took office in Solo, we visited several vocational schools. Actually, SMK is not the mayor's domain, but the governor's domain. But because the situation was not good, we ventured to make a consortium that contained big companies such as Astra, Sinar Mas," said Gibran.
"That's them, we formed to guard the state vocational schools, which previously apologized, their computers were still 'told' or the tools were still very unupdated. We update everything," he concluded.
