Junior Persecution To Death, 6 TNI Soldiers Become Suspects And Threatened With Fire
Six TNI soldiers who were involved in the persecution of their juniors to death in the Combat Engineer Battalion (Yonzipur) 4/Without Kawandya were named suspects. The six TNI soldiers have also been detained.
Kapendam IV/Diponegoro, Colonel Inf Richard Harison said that initially there were only two suspects, namely Pratu D and Pratu W. The results of the investigation continued to grow and his party named 4 new suspects, namely Pratu N, Pratu Y, Pratu M, and Pratu B.
"Saat ini sudah berkembang, jadi dari awal dua orang tersangka sekarang sudah menjadi enam orang, jadi tambahan empat orang dan statusnya adalah tersangka dan pengahan POM," ungkap Richard dalam keteranganya Senin 4 Desember sore.
The six perpetrators face a prison sentence of more than 5 years for their actions. They are also threatened with being fired as members of the TNI for this case.
"The heaviest sanction for having lost a person's life is a sentence of more than 5 years in prison then there is an additional sentence of dismissal from military service," he said.
"Dismissal through the legal process after the trial and a decision has been made to be sentenced to several years in prison with an additional dismissal sentence," continued Richard.
Previously, Prada MZR was killed by his senior at the Yonzipur 4/TK headquarters in Ambarawa, Semarang Regency, on November 30, 2023.
