In the final which took place at Manahan Stadium, Solo on Saturday, December 2 night, the German U-17 national team actually drew 2-2 against France.
The position of the draw then brought the match continued until the penalty shootout drama that Germany won with a score of 4-3. Brunner became one of the important players in Die Mannschaft's victory for scoring the opening goal with a penalty in the 29th minute.
Being one of the players who has an important role in the team, Brunner admits that he is happy and proud. He also presented this victory for the entire family and people of Germany.
"I feel grateful and happy to be able to help this team win the U-17 World Cup. I love my team. I dedicate this victory to the citizens of Germany and my parents. I like it (this award)," said Paris Brunner, quoted from a statement, Sunday, December 3.
Regarding the title of the best player assigned to him, Brunner admitted that he did not expect it but then tried hard to get him to win this title twice in a different tournament.
"Being the best player? Of course I didn't think so. I am the best player in the European championship and I also want to win a similar title in this tournament (U-17 World Cup). I managed to do it," said Brinner.
