Central Jakarta Provincial Government Only Relys On Portable Pumps To Overcome Floods

JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Mayor Dhany Sukma instructed his staff to respond quickly to areas prone to puddles so that they can be resolved.

"We need to respond quickly to the impact of this rainy season by preparing all sectors, preparing all components, all elements to be able to prepare themselves so that they can provide assistance to the community," said Dhany in an apple facing the rainy season at the Ipal House of Melati Reservoir, Tanah Abang, Friday, December 1.

Dhany said, the strength of Central Jakarta in controlling the rainy season is in water pumps.

"The strength of Central Jakarta in controlling the impact of the rainy season is water pumps, both stationary and mobile," he said.

Dhany appealed to his staff to ensure that pump machines can function properly when the rain arrives.

"The BBM is also available and the operator has a level of discipline and a commitment to both increase preparedness," he said.

Dhany also asked Central Jakarta SDA officers to be careful in checking waterways.

"For field officers, I ask them to be careful in checking water channels, both micro, PHB and rivers, and do not let clogged flows," he said.
