China Masters 2023: Indonesia Only Has 2 Representatives
JAKARTA – Indonesia is certain to have only two representatives remaining in the quarter-finals of the 2023 China Masters.
This confirmation follows that the men's doubles pair, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, were also eliminated from the BWF Super 750 event on Thursday, 23 November 2023 evening WIB.
Fajar/Rian as the fourth seed lost against the home pair, Chen Bo Yang/Liu Yi, in two straight games 11-21 and 16-21.
“The results did not meet expectations. We played very badly and the opponent performed very well. They have strong power. "Young players who have speed and are fast," said Fajar.
Fajar was not fully recovered when he played this match. However, he said that this condition could not be used as an excuse for their defeat.
