McDonald's Rawamangun Outlet Demonstrators Had A Chance To Fight With The Police
JAKARTA - A group of protesters had a chance to clash with police officers while holding an action in front of the Mconald's Rawamangun fast food restaurant outlet, Jalan Pemuda, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta, Wednesday night, November 22.
"Massa was told to disperse but continued to correlate with loudspeakers, so he had a chance to argue with the officers," said Pulogadung Police Chief Kompol Sutrisno to VOI, Tuesday, November 22, evening.
Even so, there was no friction between the demonstrators and the officers on guard. The protesters are said to have dispersed conducively.
"(The demonstrators) are about 15 people. Yes, just for a moment, but only hit the McD logo," he said.
During the action, as many as 30 joint personnel from the East Jakarta Police, Pulogadung Police and Pulogadung Koramil guarded. Meanwhile, the demonstration took place at 17.40 WIB.

The demonstration had caused traffic jams around Jalan Pemuda, Rawamangun.
"Many people watched the demonstration and filled the sidewalks, causing traffic jams," he said.
The boycott of the Mconald's fast food restaurant began on Pemuda Raya Street, Rawamangun, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta on Wednesday, November 22, evening.
Their actions are suspected of being a form of protest and are trying to boycott products that support Israel's attack on Palestine.
