Government Sends IDR 22 Billion Aid For Afghanistan Earthquake
JAKARTA - The Indonesian government provides assistance with various types of goods for earthquake victims in Afghanistan worth IDR 22 billion.
"So the government assistance prepared using ready-to-use funds is Rp. 22,104,330,000, there are 17 types of goods for Afghanistan," said Head of the National Disaster Management Agency, Suharyanto in a press statement, Wednesday, November 22.
According to Suharyanto, the assistance is only from the government and maybe later the TNI, Polri, community organizations, and so on will increase to donate.
The items prepared for delivery to Afghanistan are only items needed when they enter winter and there are requests not to send foodstuffs.

Then there are 17 types of items, namely refugee tents, large family tents, generators, velbeds, folding mattresses, cleaning equipment, blankets, winter jackets, handicraft tools, underwear, sleeping bags, clean water screening, solar lights, survival equipment, robes, and also women's cleaning equipment.
"Earlier, it was also conveyed from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, of course, these items will continue to grow. We always coordinate with Afghanistan with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs so that if there are additional items, they will be prepared later," he said.
