Suspension Bridge In West Aceh Damaged By Flood
MEULABOH - The suspension bridge connecting Manggi Village and Menuang Kinco Village, Pante Ceureumen District, West Aceh Regency was reportedly badly damaged by flooding when the river flow in the area overflowed due to heavy rains.
"It is true that a suspension bridge was reported to be damaged, currently it is still being collected by officers," said the West Aceh Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Pusdalops Coordinator, Mashuri, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 21.
Mashuri said that until Tuesday afternoon his party was still collecting data and handling a number of sub-districts affected by the flood, due to the overflowing of a number of river flows in West Aceh.
The flood disaster in West Aceh Regency has occurred due to the high intensity of rain that has occurred in the area since the last few days.

Previously, Pante Ceureumen Sub-district Head, West Aceh Regency, Zulkarnain told reporters that the suspension of a suspension bridge that connects Manggi Village-Menang Kinco Village, a local sub-district due to overflowing river currents due to heavy rains that hit the area.
According to him, the impact of the damage to the bridge has caused public transportation access in the area to be disrupted, because the suspension bridge has often been used by people for their activities.
Zulkarnain said that his party had reported the incident to the district government, so it is hoped that in the future this damage can be resolved immediately.
