Komnas PA: Stepmother Of Balita Persecution In Tangerang Confesses, She Works For The Responsibility Of 4 Children's Needs, Unemployed Husbands
TANGERANG Chairman of the National Commission for Child Protection (Komnas PA), Lia Latifah revealed the factors behind the stepmother with the initials RE (38) committing acts of violence against her child IR (4). According to RE's confession in front of Komnas PA, he admitted that he was stressed due to economic problems.
"There are many factors. So, yesterday the mother worked alone and her husband had not worked so she had to bear the economic burden for her four children," Lia told reporters, Monday, November 20.
In addition, there are also other factors, namely household problems because they take care of their four children, including IR. He admitted that he felt burdened until he finally lost control and then abused the victim.
"Then, he has a baby too and all households must be fulfilled as well. Well, this is the reason behind this mother getting control of her own child. Now, this means that there are situations and conditions that may make this mother burdened," he said.
On that basis, his party plans to examine the psychology of the alleged perpetrator to find out the real motive for RE committing this heinous act.
