Jokowi Believes Foreign Investors Will Enter IKN Soon

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo believes that investors from abroad will soon invest in the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) over time, with the large movement of domestic investors there. "Until now there is no (foreign investors). But I am sure that after domestic investors move, more and more every month, investors from outside will enter soon. We will see that they will definitely enter," said President. He conveyed foreign investment to IKN, prioritized in the education, health and technology sectors.

The President said that in APEC CEO Summit, he conveyed that the economic condition in Indonesia whose growth this year is expected to be above 5 percent. "Next year, God willing, it will be above 5 a little. And also inflation which is still under control between 2-3 percent. And the most important thing is that political stability is also good. That's what we will continue to convey," explained the Head of State.
