Kominfo Prepares Telecommunication Monitoring Center To Maintain The Quality Of Telecommunication Services
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Information continues to strive to level the development of telecommunication infrastructure and maintain the quality of telecommunications services in Indonesia.
In the Socialization of the Telecommunication, Post, and Broadcasting Monitoring Center on Thursday, November 16, Kominfo said that one of the efforts to ensure the quality of telecommunications, postal, and broadcasting services is to provide Telecommunication Monitoring Center (PMT) facilities.
"So one of the things we do is to build or prepare a Telecommunication Monitoring Center or we are short with PMT, which is integrated in supervising telecommunications, postal and broadcasting services," said Director of Post and Information Control from the Directorate General of Post and Information Administration (PPI) of the Ministry of Communication and Information, Dany Suwardany, quoting his official broadcast.
According to Dany, PMT operations aim to ensure that all aspects of telecommunications, postal, and broadcasting services can run well in accordance with established standards. So that you can present information in real time or close to real time.

Dany also stated that six PMT functions, namely the PMT analysis dashboard, the Geographical Information System (GIS), the Sigmon application, telecommunication monitoring, smart monitoring quality of service (QoS), and ticketing.
"The six functions that were explained earlier to be PMT play a vital role in the integration of telecommunications and postal and broadcasting services," explained Dany further.
Dany also added, "The ultimate goal is this monitoring system to overcome various existing problems and collect data on the results of the analysis in big data that can be used for more precise and effective decision making."
