West Southeast Maluku Was Hit By A Three-Time Earthquake In The Near Future
JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) noted that at least three shallow earthquakes with a magnitude of less than 5.0 occurred in the West Southeast Maluku region ahead of Sunday morning, November 12.
Quoted from the X account @infoBMKG, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 occurred at 01:55 WIB in 256 km northwest of West Southeast Maluku. The 10-km deep earthquake was at coordinates 6.10 South Latitude and 129.95 East Longitude.
Previously, at 01:46 WIB, a shallow earthquake also occurred in the same area with a magnitude of 4.2, namely 256 km northwest of West Southeast Maluku with a depth of 10 km.

BMKG also recorded an earthquake that occurred in 280 km northwest of West Southeast Maluku with a depth of 77 km. The earthquake measuring a magnitude of 3.8 took place at 00:40 p.m. local time with coordinates 5.87 South Latitude and 129.91 East Longitude.
Meanwhile, in other areas, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 occurred in 27 km southwest of Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara at 00:06:57 WIB. The epicenter was at coordinates 10.12 South Latitude and 123.68 East Longitude with a depth of 10 km.
