Prabowo-Gibran's Electability Is Predicted To Bepurified After The Ethics Verdict Of The Chief Justice Of The Constitutional Court
JAKARTA - Executive Director of Lingkar Madani, Ray Rangkuti predicts the electability of the presidential and vice-presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka will decline following the removal of Anwar Usman from the position of Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK).
"This situation will add to the negative burden for the Prabowo-Gibran pair. In the midst of the stagnation of the couple's electability, they even have a downward trend," Ray Rangkuti told reporters in Jakarta, Wednesday, November 8.
The decision of the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK) stated that Anwar Usman was proven to have violated serious ethics related to conflicts of interest in the Constitutional Court's decision regarding the requirements for the age of presidential and vice-presidential candidates to be changed to 40 years or has experience as regional heads. The Constitutional Court's decision is said to be profitable and provides an opportunity for Gibran Rakabuming Raka to run in the 2024 presidential election.
"This decision will also have an impact on the inherent stamps of dynastic or nepotical pairs for them," Ray said.

According to Ray, the red carpet given to Gibran has a huge electoral and political impact.
He said that Gibran, who was called the representation of opportunities for young people in the political world, was actually attacked by the issue of a political dynasty that only benefits people in President Jokowi's family.
"It will make it even more difficult for them to convince voters, especially among young people, that this decision is important for the involvement of youth participation in national leadership. Symptoms of rejection of political dynasties seem to be getting stronger," Ray said.
