Tragic, 3 Galian Workers Buried In Landslides Alive In Wonosobo
WONOSOBO - The landslide accident that killed three workers occurred in Kalierang Village, Selomerto District, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java on Thursday afternoon. It is suspected that this accident occurred due to unstable ground conditions and vibrations from vehicles passing on highways around it.
The chronology of this incident began when three workers were doing work on manual drainage or culverts. When they dug, the surrounding soil suddenly collapsed with a height of about 2 meters and buried three victims.
The three workers who died were Martin from Wonosobo, Aris from Purwokerto, and Turahman from Batang. One of them died at the scene, while the other two died on the way to the hospital.
The Head of BPBD Wonosobo, Bambang Trie, explained that the location of the incident was on the edge of a road that was crowded with vehicles, and the vibrations from the vehicle probably caused landslide mounds and culvert walls.
"The culverts that are the location of the incident are those who are in the process of being repaired and widening," he said, Friday, November 3.
