Apple Gets Rid of Touch Bar Feature in Latest MacBook Pro Series
JAKARTA - The Touch Bar was a flagship feature of MacBooks for several years, but not anymore. Apple is starting to abandon the Touch Bar feature they have been developing since 2016.
In fact, the Touch Bar is one of Apple's best breakthroughs. However, this feature is not very attractive to new MacBook users, except those who are truly fanatical about Apple products.
According to a report by The Verge, this feature is not worth developing. In the end, Apple decided to stop adopting the Touch Bar on all MacBook Pro devices.
Initially, the Touch Bar was created to make users more efficient. They no longer need to look for a row of main buttons on a MacBook because they are all available in one row.
Users can search for video and audio files in QuickTime easily, can select the Safari icon, and many other interesting capabilities. The problem is, not everyone is used to this appearance.
Apart from being a complicated setup, this feature is only available on the MacBook Pro, the most expensive device in the Mac lineup. Of course, a small number of enthusiasts brings a small income.

Not only that, many developers ignore the Touch Bar because the Mac market is more inclined towards the regular MacBook or MacBook Air versions. Some of these things may be a long consideration until Apple finally discontinues their Touch Bar feature this year.
Now, Apple is more focused on developing chips for their Mac devices. Apple strives to deliver high-speed chips with the best battery life. Very good improvement.
Apple may be confident that their Macs will still be superior even without the Touch Bar. They just need to attract the attention of users with an amazing computer system, it's that simple.
