Ji Soo Opens Voice About Bullying After 2 Years
JAKARTA - Actor Ji Soo opened his voice for the first time in two years to discuss the bullying case that dragged his name. This rumor began to circulate in March 2021, but there was no explanation from the actor until he served in the military.
Because of the rumors, Ji Soo ended his contract with the KeyEast agency. He also left for military service in October 2021.
Recently, Ji Soo finished his military service and conducted interviews. He also straightened out some of the growing rumors. When asked about defecating in a classroom, Ji Soo denied the news.
'I've never done it. Is such a thing happening in the real world? It's not all true," Ji Soo told SportsChosun.
River Where the Moon Rises star explained that he witnessed a friend get bullied, so he defends his friend.
"I went to school far from home. When I was in grade 7, I was treated like a foreigner. At the end of grade 8, my friend was bullied by a group of students so I gave them a warning," explained Ji Soo.

"As a result, I was beaten by them. Then they came and apologized to me. I ended up being friends with them," continued Ji Soo.
Remembering that time, Ji Soo admitted that he had a bit of a grudge with the bully group, but he didn't try to repay his friends' treatment.
"At that time, I also had bad feelings for them, but I thought it would help me make my school life more comfortable. I was close to them, but I didn't bully anyone," he said.
The 30-year-old actor also admitted that he had met the person who wrote the upload about the bullying news. He explained that they had spoken and straightened out the problems experienced during school.
We talked about misunderstandings and we resolved the issue, that I was not involved. It's not something I did but I apologize because I was close to them. Once again I want to apologize and school friends who feel hurt," said Ji Soo.
"At that time, River Where the Moon Rises was still airing. So I had to apologize quickly and get out of production. My military service notice has also been sent, so I did not explain and only joined the military. It's been two years," he continued.
The insulter who revealed Ji Soo's bullying also confirmed the actor's statement. They are already friends and forgive each other.
