Gibran Cancels Jurkam Ganjar Because Of Prabowo's Vice Presidential Candidate, Andika: Sincerely

Gibran Rakabuming Raka has canceled being one of the members of the National Winning Team (TKN) campaign (TKN) for President Ganjar because he will become a vice presidential candidate to accompany Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election.

Deputy Chairperson of the TPN Ganjar Presiden, Andika Perkasa, admitted that his party had no problem with Gibran's cancellation of being the campaigner for Ganjar-Mahfud.

"It must be very sincere. I'm sure, even though I don't know later, right," Andika said when met at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Central Jakarta, Sunday, October 22.

Moreover, according to Andika, the coalition of four parties carrying Ganjar-Mahfud does not lack resources to fill the position of TPN campaigner Ganjar Presiden. Figures outside the coalition of parties were also charged with winning Ganjar.

"In the meantime, not only the 4 parties, but also professionals, from young people, gen Z, millennials. TPN also opens up. So, it doesn't only have to be from 4 political parties that support this," explained Andika.

Andika continued, the TPN GP is currently still completing the preparation of the structure of the winning team which will work during the nomination stages of presidential and vice presidential candidates until election day, including filling the position of Gibran's replacement in the team.

"Bsok pagi kita masih rapat finalisasi, ini benar dini pagi sudah dijadwalkan. Finalisasi selain struktur organisasi, di situ juga termasuk yang akan menjadi juru bicara, juru kampanye, termasuk tim-tim lain yang ada dalam struktur, juga visi-mission, dimarin itu akan difialisasikan," jelasnya.

As previously reported, Golkar Party Chairman Airlangga Hartarto stated that his party agreed to propose Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka as Prabowo Subianto's companion cawap crew in the 2024 presidential election. This agreement was taken after the internal party held a meeting on Friday night, October 20.

The son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has also received a decree from the party bearing the banyan symbol on Saturday, October 21.

He has also visited a number of party chairmen who are members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition, such as Zulkifli Hasan who is the General Chair of the National Mandate Party (PAN) and Chairman of the Crescent Star Party (PBB) Yusril Ihza Mahendra.

Gibran Rakabuming Raka also admitted that he was ready to accept sanctions from the PDI-P (PDIP) by strengthening the issue that he would run as a vice presidential candidate for Prabowo, while he was a PDIP cadre who had brought Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

"Ready (PDIP sanctions)," said Gibran when met at the Proclamation Monument, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Saturday, October 21.

Gibran admitted that he had met with the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP, Puan Maharani, to discuss the plan to nominate herself as the reading of Prabowo's vice president. However, he did not answer firmly how his party status was.

"Earlier I answered, I met Ms. Puan," said Gibran.
