Acting Debut In Waqf, Putri Delina Realizes The Desire To Play Horror Films
JAKARTA - Putri Delina is delighted to be able to debut acting in a horror film. She is the main character in Adi Garin's latest film, Waqf, which will air this month.
It turned out that Putri was a fan of horror films so when the offer for this film came, she did not hesitate to accept it immediately.
"From a young age, I liked horror, and always told the late Mama that I wanted to play horror films, even though Putri liked to sing," said Putri Delina at the VOI office today, Friday, October 13.
"If there are indeed several offers in the film, Putri is still not confident. But after this horror offer, Putri immediately did not refuse because she wanted to try," he explained.
Putri Delina explained that she needed a process to finally dare to act. She started with a short film that she made with her sister, Rizwan Fadhillah, for YouTube content.

"From junior high school, there was an exam that the princess chose a horror film. From there, Putri really wanted it because she didn't get published and then invited Rizwan to try horror. Learning even though it didn't become a ghost but got the atmosphere like from a short movie," said Putri Delina.
Apart from studying, Putri Delina also wants to show her productivity in working in the entertainment industry. He decided this on his own because his family, like his father Sule or his brother Rizky Febian, really supported him.
"At first I didn't believe it, but this has never been done, so first the woman wants to show that she also wants to play horror films," said Putri Delina.
The Waqf film tells the story of Delia (Putri Delina) and Farhan (M. Yusuf Al-Lampsai) being witnesses among their parents who are fighting over a grandfather's waqf land. The strength of the genie penetrated Delia and interfered in this gamble. Terror for the sake of terror continues to make the mastermind behind the jin.
Meanwhile, the Waqf film will be released in Indonesian cinemas starting October 26, 2023.
