Peruri Utilizes Company Assets To Become City Parks
JAKARTA - Peruri will use the company's assets into a public space. This step is to revive Kebayoran Baru's'spirit' as Garden City. The new master plan will be based on the construction of Urban Park or Peruri City Park.
Development also received support from the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and also the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
Peruri President Director Dwina Septiani Wijaya said, Peruri City will become a new face by carrying out a concept of development that is not massive through low density and low rise development, and continues to bring preservation of cultural heritage values among the concepts of modern buildings.
"We will start the construction of Peruri City, not from the laying of the first stone as is usually done in the construction of tally buildings, but from planting trees in Peruri City which will make the ex-industrial area provide 1.08 hectares of reforestation areas and a wider container for creative activities for Jakarta residents," he said at a groundbreaking event, in Peruri City, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta, Friday, October 13.
The city of Peruri has a very strategic location surrounded by several public transportation facilities, including Blok M Bus Terminal, Transjakarta Bus Stop and MRT Station, thus making this area included in the TOD (Transit Oriented Development) area.
"The city of Peruri will in the future become a center of activity that encourages visitors to use public transportation to support emission reduction," he said.
The city of Peruri is an integrated area consisting of 7 activity zones, namely Peruri Office, Heritage Fine dining and Resto, Urban Park, Art and Creative Gallery, Food and Beverage, MICE, and Commercial Office by carrying out four planning principles, namely inclusive, dynamic, authentic, and adaptive-reuse.
One of the zones in Peruri City is Urban Park or so-called Peruri City Park to answer the community's need for green open spaces in the middle of South Jakarta.
Peruri City Park also contributes most of the green open space with a total area of 1.08 hectares which will be one of the sources of reforestation in the middle of South Jakarta.
