Rows Of Hollywood Artists Who Voiced Support For Israel, Immediately Get Criticism

JAKARTA - Hollywood artists showed support for Israel after Hamas launched an attack on Saturday last week. They blew up rockets from Gaza that killed at least 900 people with 100 people in them.

Israel ordered a total siege of Gaza on Monday, October 9 and cut off electricity, food and water from the region.

A series of Hollywood artists voiced and supported Israel. The Israeli Gal Gadot also made a donation page to the public who wanted to provide assistance to Israel.

I support Israel, you too. The world cannot stand still when this heinous act of terror occurs! Gal Gadot wrote in his post with the Israeli flag.

Natalie Portman via her social media wrote, "My heart is grieving for Israelis. Children, women, and the elderly who were killed and kidnapped from their homes. I feel afraid to see this barbaric act and my heart palpitate because of love and prayers for all the families affected."

Three posts were made by Gal Gadot containing requests for donations as a form of support for Israel.

Kylie Jenner shared a photo of Stand With Us Israel on Instagram Story. However, not long after, the post was deleted from his account after his post was enlivened with pro Palestine.

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis also posted the Israeli flag on social media but closed the entire comments column in the upload.

Comedian Amy Schumer re-uploaded several articles regarding Israeli attacks through social media. Like Curtis, Schumer also closed the comments column on his Instagram account.

Hulk star Mark Ruffalo has come under fire for blaming both sides. He wrote, "We pray for their safety, as we pray for the safety of the Gazans who are surrounded and bombarded."

Apart from artists, a number of musicians also expressed solidarity with Israel. Madonna voiced support for Israel through social media as Bruno Mars canceled his concert in Tel Aviv amid the situation.
