Ferrari Drivers Recklessly At The Senayan Roundabout Become Suspects

JAKARTA - Sub-Directorate of Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro is still investigating the accident case between a Ferrari sports car and 5 other vehicles on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman near the Senayan Roundabout, Central Jakarta. According to the results of the investigation, the police named the driver of a Ferrari car, RAS as a suspect.

"Sudah melakukan tahapan gelar perkara dan menaikkan status dari gelar perkara menjadi tersangka," Kasubdit Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Jhonny Eka saat dikonfirmasi, Senin, 9 Oktober.

Jhonny said that if the Ferrari RAS driver was subject to Article 310 paragraph 2 of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation (LLAJ). RAS is considered negligent in driving.

"According to the information, the driver is indeed sleepy, so when braking, at a speed of 100 km per hour, there was an accident," he said.

Regarding the condition of the victim, Jhonny said that two victims were injured. However, now both have returned home.

"The victim was bruised, but after being helped from the medical team at 05.30 WIB the victim was able to return home," he concluded.

Previously, a series of accidents involving Ferrari sports cars and 5 other vehicles occurred on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman near the Senayan Roundabout, Central Jakarta.

In this incident, 3 cars and 3 motorbikes had an accident.

"The accident involved a Ferrari car, Toyota Avanza (taxion), Honda Brio, Honda Beat, Benelli Sport, Honda Verza," said Jhonny Eka in his statement, Sunday, October 8.
