A work accident occurred at Villa Bintaro Regency Housing, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang, Friday, October 6 at around 10.30 WIB.
The Head of Pondok Aren Police, Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq, suspected that the cause of the accident was due to the vibration of heavy equipment excavators which resulted in the wall collapsing.
"While we suspect it was caused by a vibration from the excavator that caused the wall above to collapse and hit the workers below," said Bambang in a short message, Friday, October 6.
Bambang explained, actually there were 4 people who were victims of the rubble and one person died. However, when his friend was lifting the victim, he fell so he was injured.
"So at the TKP (the crime scene) there were 4 victims, 1 died and 3 were injured. Meanwhile, there was 1 person who died when the victim died in a pick-up car who was going to take him to the hospital," he said.
"So he only had abrasions, not a larena normalization incident, but because he fell while lifting the victim to the car," he continued.
