Right Here Waiting Becomes The Perfect Closing Of Richard Marx Concert In Jakarta

JAKARTA - Richard Marx's concert with the title The Songwriter Tour which was held at The Kasablanka Hall, South Jakarta on Thursday, October 5 night became the fourth appearance in Indonesia since 1990.

Of the dozens of songs Richard Marx performed in front of fans, the song Right Here Waiting may be the most anticipated song.

The singer and songwriter from the United States performed Right Here Waiting as a closing repertoire.

Only on that song Richard Marx appeared to play the keyboard on stage. The audience couldn't help but sing together along the song.

Right Here Waiting, which was released in 1989, is the perfect closing of Richard Marx's concert which lasted about 90 minutes.

Meanwhile, Richard Marx performed 17 songs from the 1980s to his last album released in 2022, Songwriter.

Some of the songs performed include Believe In Me, Take This Heart, Endless Summer Night, Angelia, Front Row Seat, Same Heartbreak Different Day, When You Loved Me, Keep Coming Back, Hold On to The Nights, Now And Forever, Hazard, Moscow Calling, This I Promising You, Satisfied, Holiday, and Should ve Known Better.

On stage, Richard Marx also reminisced about the first time he held a concert in Indonesia. While joking, he saw his audience this time dominated by those who had grown old.

"I remember when I first went to Jakarta in 1990, now I'm old. And I remember the audience was also excited, but now you guys are also aging, just like me," said Richard Marx.
