Minister Of Agriculture SYL's Private House In Makassar Was Ransacked By The KPK Regarding Allegations Of Corruption At The Ministry Of Agriculture
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched the house of the Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL in Makassar, South Sulawesi (Sulsel). This forced effort is related to allegations of corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) which is being investigated."It's true, today the investigative team continues the search in Makassar City," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, October 4.Ali has not detailed the results of the search. He only said the legal process was still ongoing."As soon as it is finished, we will convey the results," he said.Separately, the General Treasurer (Bendum) of NasDem Ahmad Sahroni confirmed that the search was carried out at the Minister of Agriculture SYL's private house in Makassar. Sahroni said his party supports the ongoing legal process in the process of searching for additional data that the KPK is currently investigating regarding corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture dragged the name of the Minister of Agriculture.From the search, Sahroni said the KPK confiscated the Audi brand car. The search is currently still ongoing at the private residence of Minister of Agriculture SYL in Makassar."Just found out that there was news that the Audi car was confiscated, if I'm not mistaken, it's okay with the KPK process, the name is not only at the official residence, but also at his private house," said Sahroni at the NasDem Jakarta Headquarters on Wednesday, October 4.Previously reported, the KPK has raised the status of the investigation into alleged corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture to investigate. There are already suspects who have been named but no details have been given.However, information circulated that the Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono, and Director of Agricultural Equipment of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhammad Hatta were dragged into this case.
In investigating this case, the anti-corruption commission has conducted a search. At the official residence of Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo, investigators found Rp30 billion in cash consisting of rupiah denominations and foreign currencies and firearms.Then, the search was continued at the Ministry of Agriculture's Office. As a result, documents related to the corruption case were found.Most recently, investigators also visited Hatta's house in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. From the forced effort, Rp400 million was found.The findings obtained from the search are now being analyzed and confiscation will be carried out. Meanwhile, the findings of firearms were handed over to the police for follow-up.
