TikTok has been making most of its revenue from advertising, and so far, TikTok has proven to be able to hold on to the slowdown in online advertising spending.
Standard Media Index reports that, in November, the portion of large agency spending on social media by TikTok's parent startup ByteDance reached 11 percent, compared to other major online stores, namely DoorDash, Amazon, and Apple.
