KPK Reveals Finding Money At The Office House Of Minister Of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo Reaches IDR 30 Billion
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that the money found at the official residence of the Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo reached Rp. 30 billion. This finding is suspected to be related to the corruption case at the Ministry of Agriculture which is at the investigation stage.
"Yesterday, a large amount of evidence was found, both rupiah and foreign currency at the minister's official residence, which amounted quite large. The Kuran is more than Rp. 30 billion," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, October 2.
It is known that the search was carried out on Thursday, September 28. Syahrul's official residence is in the Widya Chandra Complex, Jakarta.
From the search process, Ali also mentioned that there were findings of firearms currently being handled by the police. Meanwhile, the anti-corruption commission will continue to investigate allegations of corruption.
"Next, we will schedule a summons for witnesses," he said.

The witnesses will later be confirmed regarding the findings of evidence, including documents found during the search.
Previously reported, the KPK revealed that there were three clusters of investigations into alleged corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan). The details are extortion related to positions, gratuities, and alleged money laundering (TPPU).
The anti-corruption commission does not want to detail the suspects in this case. Even so, it was reported that the Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono, and Director of Agricultural Equipment of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhammad Hatta were dragged into this case.
