Spotify Shows Hints of Launching HiFi Service
JAKARTA - Spotify HiFi, which has been waiting for a long time, is finally showing signs of launch. Quoted from The Verge, the code in the Spotify application shows new details about Supremium.
The new tier could see Spotify use 24-bit lossless audio, have the ability to create playlists with Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other updates. This feature found clearly refers to the development of Spotify HiFi (High Fidelity).
Spotify HiFi is a tier designed to create high-quality music. Later, users can enjoy music with CD-like quality just with the application.
Spotify HiFi has been talked about for a long time, and was even announced in 2021. However, this feature, which is said to be quite expensive, has not yet been launched. It even disappeared from discussion until it finally changed its name to Supremium last June.

Meanwhile, the discovery of the Spotify application code also shows the price of Supremium. It is noted that Supremium will be priced at 19.99 US dollars or the equivalent of IDR 307 thousand.
Supremium can display 30 hours of listening to audiobooks every month, and is able to sort the library based on mood, genre, and activities carried out.
Spotify is reluctant to comment on this new feature even though it has been widely discussed. Spotify spokesperson CJ Stanley told The Verge that they would not comment on the Supremium speculation and they did not want to share anything at this time.
