Judicial Commission Explores Information About Judges Making Corruption Convicts Of PT AMG Sand Mining City Detainees
The Judicial Commission (KY) will dig up information related to the determination of the Mataram District Court (PN) judges to transfer the detention status of the defendant Po Suwandi to city detention.
Po Suwandi as Director of PT Anugrah Mitra Graha (AMG) Po Suwandi is a defendant in the corruption of the PT AMG iron sand mine in Dedalpak Block, East Lombok.
"The case remains under the supervision of the Judicial Commission. We will continue to dig up all information related to the proceedings and all developing information," said the Coordinator of the KY Liaison Office for the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) region, Ridho Ardian Pratama, in Mataram, Wednesday, September 20, as reported by Antara.
Ridho was reluctant to reveal the provisional results of digging up information related to the determination of the transfer of the status of detention of the accused in the corruption case which cost the state Rp36 billion.
He only reminded that the determination was still inherent in the judge's authority. Therefore, Ridho advised all parties to respect the decision.
"If it is related to findings, because this is an ethics room, it is impossible to announce it to the public. However, if it is proven that these findings lead to violations of the KEPPH (Ethical Code for Code of Conduct of Judges), then they can be submitted to the public with their own mechanism," he said.

Previously, the prosecutor's office detained the defendant Po Suwandi as of the forced pick-up in mid-April 2023 from his domicile in North Jakarta.
The forced pick-up was a follow-up to the appropriate summons three times. However, Po Suwandi has not been present before the prosecutor's investigator.
After the case was transferred to the Mataram NTB District Court, the panel of judges who tried the Po Suwandi case had determined the transfer of detention status from prison detention to city detention.
The panel of judges led by Isrin Surya Kurniasih determined this on Friday, September 15, citing Po Suwandi's health condition.
The consideration refers to a certificate of illness from the Mataram City Regional General Hospital (RSUD) which was shown by the legal adviser to the defendant Po Suwandi before the panel of judges during the trial on Thursday, September 14.
