KPK Investigate Allegations Of Corruption In The Construction Of The Lamongan Regency Government Building
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched a number of places in Lamongan Regency, East Java. This forced effort is suspected to be related to corruption in the construction of buildings in the government environment.
"The new case is the construction of buildings in the local government there. The district government means yes," Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, September 15.
Asep did not want to specify the location of the search or evidence brought by investigators regarding the allegation. However, he ensured that this act of corruption was detrimental to the state.
"If I'm not mistaken, PUPR is the one who organizes the project there. Then other offices that are suspected of being related to these crimes include private parties," he said.

He ensured that the investigation into the alleged corruption was still ongoing. However, he is still closing who the suspects are in this case and the construction of the case.
The public is asked to continue to monitor the movement of the KPK in conducting investigations. "The suspect will be announced later," said Asep.
"This is related to Article 2 and Article 3. There is no calculation (of state financial losses, ed). We have just submitted it," he concluded.
