Bandar Lampung Prosecutor's Office Names Corruption Suspects For Procurement Of Waste Containers
The Bandar Lampung District Attorney (Kejari) has again named one suspect in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of garbage containers at the Environmental Service (DLH) of Bandar Lampung City.
Head of the Bandar Lampung District Attorney's Office (Kajari) Helmi Hasan, through the Head of Intelligence Rio Irawan said the determination of the suspect was a series of investigations from corruption cases being handled in the Special Crimes (Pidsus) sector.
"The suspect with the initials RS (Rangga) is 31 years old," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, September 15.
The determination of the suspect was based on two pieces of evidence, witnesses, and expert witnesses. The suspect, he said, was a partner in the 2018 to 2020 container procurement project.
The suspect's modus operandi, he continued, was carried out by using materials for container procurement projects that did not comply with standards, resulting in a difference.
"This suspect carried out his actions in collaboration with the previous suspect named Eko, who has yet to fulfill the investigator's summons. As a result of this act, the state suffered a loss of more than Rp. 500 million," he said.
Hingga saat ini pihaknya telah mengirimkan panggilan sebanyak dua kali namun tersangka belum juga memenuhi panggilan.
In the future, he said, he would immediately make a third call and make a forced pick-up effort until the determination of the People's Wanted List (DPO).
"Later we will call again the third time," he said.
