4G BTS Corruption Case Trial, Judge Cecar Billions Of Money To Suspect Yusrizki
JAKARTA - The trial for the alleged corruption case in the construction of the 4G Base Transceiver Station (BTS) was held again today. The panel of judges questioned the flow of Rp. 3 billion to the suspect Muhammad Yusrizki.
The question arose when Chief Judge Fahzal questioned William Leonardo's testimony as President Director of PT Excelsia Mitra who said he had given money to the suspect Muhammad Yusrizki in the amount of Rp. 3 billion.
"Has anyone given anything to Yusrizki?" asked Chief Judge Fahzal during a trial at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, September 12.
"Yes," answered William.
"How much do you give?" said Judge Fahzal, who was then answered by William in the amount of Rp. 3 billion.
Then, he was asked about the purpose of giving the money. William admitted that his goal was to maintain relations with Yusrizki in the future.
"Earlier, you got the contract from that contract, earlier there were stories, maybe later someone ordered the item, right, the story was tohh and it turned out that it was there. So what you handed over was Rp. 3 billion, what was it called? to the jurisrizki?" said Chief Judge Fahzal.
"Just anticipate," William replied.
"Why do you have to share with him?" said Hakim.
William reasoned that the money was like an investment in order to get another project from Yusrizki. Because, his background is an active figure of EBT, especially biogas.
"You can easily give Rp3 billion, you know? What's his name?" asked Hakim Fahzal again.
"Actually, the 3 billion is for future projects," William replied.
