PKS Not Worried About Anies-Cak Imin Supporting Coalition Called Motor Politics Identity
PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu admitted that he was not worried that the coalition supporting the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) pair was referred to as the motor of identity politics.
According to Syaikhu, the coalition consisting of PKS, NasDem and PKB is a combination of nationalists-religious.
"We are not worried that this will become identity politics, I think this is a combination of parties that may have a basis for publicism and nationalism," said Syaikhu during a press conference at the PKS DPP office, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 12.
"Therefore, I agree with what was revealed by the General Chairperson of the NasDem party that in fact with this coalition there is no longer division, division in the community, a kampret tadpole has been completed, we have welcomed this better future," he continued.
Previously, the General Chairperson of NasDem Surya Paloh believed that the Anies-Cak Imin pair was able to overcome threats to national values. Paloh also said goodbye to the politics of tadpoles and kamprets.
"We hope that these two pairs will be able to overcome various kinds of temptation and trials, even threats to our national values system," said Paloh during the declaration of presidential and vice-presidential candidates at the Majapahit Hotel, Surabaya, East Java, Saturday, September 2.
"Today we also say goodbye to tadpole politics and kamprets," he added.

"We love the nation, we love this country, and that is our obligation to present a leader who is able to build this country," he continued.
