Busway Separator Collis Truck In Front Of Cipinang Prison, Traffic Is Getting More And More Congested

JAKARTA - A truck traveling from Bekasi to Jatinegara, precisely on Jalan Bekasi Timur Raya, in front of Cipinang Prison, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta, crashed into the busway lane separator on Tuesday, September 12, morning. The truck accident without cargo occurred at around 06.10 WIB.

As a result of the accident, the front of the truck was crushed due to a hard impact. Luckily, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of this accident. However, the traffic flow had stalled.

Head of Traffic for East Jakarta Region, AKBP Edy Surasa explained, the truck accident occurred when a truck drove from Bekasi to Jatinegara on Tuesday morning.

"The cause is temporary due to lack of concentration. The truck driver with the initials M is currently still being taken information. The incident was right in front of Cipinang Prison, due to a lack of concentration and finally hit the busway separator," said AKBP Edy to VOI, Tuesday, September 12.

Furthermore, AKBP Edy explained that there were no victims as a result of this truck accident. Members of the accident unit have also evacuated the vehicle that crashed into the East Jakarta Satwil office.

"Currently, we have secured all the evidence in the Satwil. Including the temporary driver, we are asking for information. The incident occurred at approximately 6 o'clock, the vehicle was traveling from West to East," he said.

Meanwhile, the truck evacuation process was carried out by a special service vehicle toweds belonging to the East Jakarta Satwil. The case is still being handled by the East Jakarta Satwil.

"Temporary suspicion is due to lack of concentration, what kind of examination will I inform you later," he concluded.
